The Western Canadian Croatian Folklore Festival is a long-standing cultural event that brings together Croatian folklore groups from across Western Canada and North America. Each year, the festival is hosted by a different city, providing an opportunity to celebrate Croatian heritage through dance, music, and community events.
The United Croats of Canada, King Tomislav Branch and our folklore group Hrvatski Vitezovi (Croatian Knights) were the proud hosts of the 47th edition of this festival, with the pinnacle performance taking place on May 17, 2025, at the Great Canadian Casino in Coquitlam. This festival was not only a showcase of the beauty of our Croatian culture but also an event that strengthened community bonds and fostered cross-cultural appreciation.
