The United Croats of Canada, King Tomislav Branch is a non-profit charitable society who own and operate the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Society was founded in 1957 by Croatian immigrants with the purpose of advancing education by increasing public knowledge and appreciation of Croatian art, literature, culture, language, and traditions.
We offer regular Croatian language and folklore classes as well as partner with other organizations to further our purpose of preserving and educating the Croatian tapestry. Throughout the year we host several events that celebrate and educate Croatian culture and heritage to the community at large. In partnership with The Society of Friends of Matica Hrvatska of British Columbia, we have a library of Croatian literature available for public interest.
Since opening the doors to the Croatian Cultural Centre in 1986, we have become a pillar of the Croatian community in Vancouver.
If you are interested in becoming a Member of the Society, please complete the UCC Associate Membership Application and email it to: [email protected].
